Using Tether
Replay and cache
Use cached execution state to keep local iteration cheap and replay a downstream branch from a selected node.
Cache loop
Cache keys are derived from the HTTP method, path, query, and request body. A cache hit is returned to the app and written to the trace graph as a cached node.
- Use cache when iterating on downstream logic that repeats the same prompt.
- Clear cache when prompt changes should reach the provider again.
- Treat cached hits as local development artifacts, not production truth.
Replay boundary
Replay loads the selected node request, sends it to the configured provider, persists the replacement response, and marks downstream nodes stale so the graph shows which branch needs fresh execution.
